You can contact us at any time by telephone, via email or by post. Problems can usually be resolved quickly and adequately. You will receive a confirmation of receipt of your complaint within 7 days. For complaints concerning the Dutch Basic healthcare insurance you can also submit a complaint via the Health Care Insurance Complaints and Disputes Foundation (Stichting Klachten en Geschillen Zorgverzekeringen or SKGZ). You can turn to the SKGZ if your request for reconsideration of a decision is denied or if we do not respond within the designated time period. The SKGZ will investigate whether the case can be mediated by the Ombudsman.
In our experience most complaints are resolved satisfactorily.
